Earth-Beat SweatLodge

Many Indigenous cultures on Turtle Island (North America) have traditionally used the Sweatlodge for purification, cleansing and healing of mind, body, emotions and spirit.

The Sweatlodge has been called "the most powerful structure in the world." Sweats vary from purification and cleansing to healing sweats. It is said that the Sweatlodge ceremony "responds" to what the people need.

There will be 2 traditional North American Sweatlodge Ceremonies taking place at Earth-Beat on Saturday and Sunday at 7am in the morning. The exchange for the Sweatlodge is $50 (purchase tickets below). This goes towards the organisation and an experience facilitator. Please purchase your tickets online or at the info tent during the festival. The ceremonies are limited to 20 people each so get your ticket early to avoid missing out and please arrive on time. If you purchase online, please print and take your ticket with you to the Sweatlodge.

We are very fortunate to be able to offer this experience at Earth-Beat. The ancestors of the First Nations visioned the Sweatlodge as a gift from The Creator to help in healing, purification, and connection to the spirit world. The Sweatlodge “Womb of Mother Earth” is connected to all directional powers of the universe: above, below, east, south, west and north. Intent within integrity is the key to the positive outcome of the ceremony.
