Through a beautiful gentle Hatha Flow Yoga class, we unfold into "Yoga Therapy”; a holistic way to work with asana that strengthens the body, mind and spirit.
By releasing what is held in your body, mind and spirit, you will no longer be calling yoga a type of 'exercise' but an 'innercise'. Within a moving meditation, we will find a place to quieten the mind where you gently meet your blocks and limitations with love and compassion. When we listen to our bodies and surrender in that place, we are able to let go and be kind to our selfves in each pose. This workshop will focus on the real meaning of yoga (union), leaving behind the fast transitions and hard work we really stop and deepen into each asana, allowing space for emotions to be observed and released. We will be using the Ujjagi breath (yoga breath) as a key to unblock and let the air flow through. This is a class suitable for all levels, focusing on alignments and the foundations of yoga to set you up for a healthier lifestyle on all levels.
