The Hemp Foundation has been teaching medical professionals ‘Hemp Medicine’ since 2016. We are an evidence based org trying to change the political narrative around Hemp/Cannabis via education.
Sacred to cultures around the world for millennia, hemp has been demonised for over a century at tremendous economic and environmental cost. This can be viewed as anticompetitive practices and fraudulent marketing.
Today, new legislation is being shaped to control 21st Century medicines; which come from food plants. Hemp is an example par excellence of this control; its been made a pharmaceutical, and a prohibited food; only available in denatured forms “to distinguish between a food and a therapeutic good”. (MoH) This presentation covers your cannabiology, big pharmas conflicts of interest, and the curious history of hemp in NZ. Lets demand honest information and public service from schools, universities, politicians, and regulators. The Emperor wears no clothes, come find out why.
