When people tell me they have no rhythm I remind them of the cycles of the natural world, rhythms in their own body, their heartbeat. When you enter a drum circle we all have different thoughts, emotions and intentions but something amazing happens when we play and dance in time together, it’s called entrainment. Our brain frequencies synchronize; we are simultaneously listening and creating.
