Gelli Pad Art Workshop

The technique in this workshop will be used to create images specific to the environment and uses natural and other found materials and objects.
Presented by passionate creative artistic duo “us2art” (Valeria Nazarova & Gus Simonovic). For us, Art is as much introspective as it is interactive practice. By facilitating this workshop we invite young people of all ages to immerse themselves into the continuous process of discovery and rediscovery through creative means of art making. Impressions, experimentations, learnings, imaginations, observations from this workshop will be preserved in extraordinary, colorful prints to excite, be shared and talked about – for years to come.
After the workshop there will be a place assigned to hang up the creations and make a collective “mural” as a visual record of Festival impressions, and for others to see / interact with the artwork. After the Festival people can take prints with them back home.
