Heta Dawson
Heta is a comedian who has always had a knack for making people laugh and attributes his sense of humor to his upbringing in South Auckland which is heavily influenced by his Maori heritage and the antics of his large whanau.
In 2019 Heta was a Classic Raw Comedy Quest finalist and has performed twice (2019 & 2021) in the International Comedy Festival with fellow comedians Corin Healy and Ed Amon, then with his daugther Courtney Dawson in the show ‘Half and Hawhe.’ With a unique blend of South Auckland style and a Maori perspective, Heta offers a comedic look at the world. He is known for his “what the f**k?” attitude and his ability to bring laughter to any stage he performs on.
