After the initial introduction, facilitators will work individually with all participants to ensure the best results. The process is intuitive and easy to understand, even for the youngest participants. All materials are provided.
As part of the workshop, there will be a designated space to hang up the creations and form a collective “mural” as a visual record of festival impressions, allowing others to see and interact with the artwork. After the festival, participants can take prints home with them.
Presented by the passionate creative artistic duo us2art (Valeria Nazarova & Gus Simonovic), this workshop encourages a practice of art that is as introspective as it is interactive. Through facilitating this workshop, we invite young people of all ages to immerse themselves in the continuous process of discovery and rediscovery through creative art-making.
Impressions, experiments, learnings, imaginations, and observations from these workshops will be preserved in extraordinary, colorful prints that will excite, be shared, and talked about for years to come.
