This workshop offers our tamariki a journey to discover languages and cultures of the world through the cultural practices of various countries, including dancing, singing, reading, listening, and playing. It acknowledges the richness of their own multilingual backgrounds while planting seeds of curiosity and openness in future generations.
Laurie is passionate about languages, speaking fluently in English, French, Spanish, and German. She is still learning Italian and now Te Reo! She wishes to share the discoveries she was lucky to make during her travels and studies, and hopefully, pass on her curiosity for other languages and cultures.
