Woollen Mandala Making

Make a beautiful Gods Eye woven from fully upcycled materials. We have collected colourful wool from op-shops and recycle centres and have foraged the perfect sticks for you to be able to come along and weave a new life into these objects. We will guide the group in the steps of how to create a multi coloured Gods Eye by weaving your own selection of colours of wool through the bound together sticks.
The group can let their imaginations rip and take our guidance and make their own design. The beauty of these is that younger children can make very simple designs that still look great and older children can get quite advanced and make more complex designs. For ages 6+, the younger the child the more likely they will need a helpful adult alongside them to complete the project.
I am a group facilitator of adult workshops. I am a mum of 2 boys who love creating and making. We enjoy sharing our favourite crafts with others. The workshop we offer is a team run event with my husband and boys providing guidance to the children making and creating. We love foraging and making things from nature or by repurposing & upcycling what would otherwise be waste.
