Mindfullness for Children

I provide a safe space for children to come and learn in a relaxed environment about being their own best friend & coming home to themselves. I use crystal singing bowls, musical instruments and encourage them to use their own voice & vibration to stimulate the vagus nerve.
Children can learn best a relaxed environment. Practising mindfulness can help kids to learn to focus and manage stress, regulate emotions and maintain a positive outlook. We also do some breath work and skills for every day life and anxiety assisting emotional regulation.
I teach children to support and love each other with informal practises and kids often feel much more comfortable and happier when they leave. Children will also be taught about honouring their body & nurturing those around them.
I am a mama of a primary school child with special requirements & I can see how a lot of children don’t have an environment to decompress and calm their nervous systems.
I want to teach them to do that for themselves & be their own best friend and live in the present moment. We live in Papamoa Beach and love the Bay of Plenty.
