Daniel Wander ( Mad Hallelujah) & the Barefoot Rhythm Band make music for the wide open road – part mystic, part melancholy, and always a good story! Folk-rock anthems and simmering roots grooves are equally at home in their ever-evolving repertoire. Think heavenly harmonies, earthy rhythms, and melodies you can’t help but sing along to!
Daniel credits his many journeys in Aotearoa with the inspiration for much of his music, though he now hails from the Rocky Mountains of Colorado, USA. His songs reflect influences of American folk, Aotearoa roots, and devotional medicine music alike, woven together by true stories and deep prayers straight from the pen of a rambling poet.
The Barefoot Rhythm Band will feature Carlos Riegel on percussion, Sunny Ray on vocals, Henry Shanks on saxophone, and Hanwho on bass, plus more special guests TBA!
