Basant Madhur Ensemble consists of Basant Madhur , Akhil Madhur-Tabla, Sargam Madhur Sitar, These musicians have all been trained in the traditional form of this music and have been playing and performing both individually and together for many years. Together they present a unique musical experience for audiences. Individually and collectively the artists have received many positive reviews and comments from audiences both here and overseas for their high-quality, informative, and entertaining music.
Jon Sanders is recognized as a virtuoso bouzouki player, tenor ukulele player and an internationally acclaimed composer. His composition draws on elements of jazz, gypsy, funk, Arabic, Latino and Celtic styles.
Hanna Wiskari is Swedish musician – a saxophonist, instrumental and ensemble tutor, artistic mentor and workshop facilitator based in Tāmaki Makaurau in Aotearoa New Zealand.
