Hunter Wilson, aka King Cass NZ Hip-Hop artist, is a advocate for mental health and youth.
Hunter had a wayward journey through life. He was diagnosed at age 6 with ADHD and at age 9 he found his mother attempting suicide.
Later on in life he became addicted to methamphetamine, which led to psychosis. This drove Hunter to hit a rock bottom and ending up in an mental health institution, where he found the help he needed. With the support of his mother by his side, Hunter found his passion for music. He is now creating music, in the bid to help others.
He has been travelling around New Zealand spreading awareness through his music for several years now. In 2021 he completed his first NZ tour Yes We Next, with NZ artist Dilz also connecting his music to the next generation through his presentation, The Awakening from dark to light.
His aim is to bring unity & raise awareness.
