Franko Heke
Franko is on a mission to raise consciousness through his music, workshops, and festivals. He is the co-founder of NZ Spirit and Resolution festivals and NZ Yoga Day. He also hosts regular events at The Holistic Hub NZ that bring community together in song, dance, and breath.
Franko has toured the world as a rock ’n roll musician, trained as a yoga teacher in India, and lived and worked in Los Angeles, Bali, and London. He now shares devotional yogic music and meditation. Whether it is a small yoga studio in Bali or playing with 4 million people at The World Culture Festival in Delhi he always manages to unite whoever is present.
Franko is sought after to perform at transformational events and does so across multiple modalities – yoga, meditation, and music. As a musician, he has opened for Xavier Rudd and Nahko & Medicine for the People and shared the microphone with Donavon Frankenreiter. You’ll often catch him sharing the NZ Spirit Festival stage with NZ music royalty such as Tiki Taane, Kings, and Laughton Kora.
