Abstract Fish Lungs is a four-piece band from Raglan. Consisting of Hendrix on the bass, Josh on lead vocals and rhythm guitar, Wai Ariki on lead guitar and backing vocals, and Lily on drums. We play an infusion of Alternative Rock, with Metal riffs, melodic melodies, and funky bass lines. We played at the 2023 Earthbeat festival, along with placing 2nd in the Smoke-Free Rockquest Regional Final. For the past 2 years, we have taken part in the WTF (Whaingaroa Talent Factory) music showcase, which has led to the recording of our first single, MISERY! We love to perform and grasp any musical opportunity that may arise for us! Playing our music for people is what we enjoy most!
