Daniel Monterigues
Many Native traditions in the world go through rites of passage using powerful substances from animals or plants. The tree frog Phyllomedusa bicolor, also known as Kambô, has a powerful biochemical resin used since ancient times by the indigenous tribes of the Amazon and traditionally applied as an immune system enhancer and detoxifier, to cleanse the organs and help heal diseases, sharpen the senses for mental clarity and other daily activities. Capable of physical and mental improvements, this multi-medicinal substance has now been used worldwide in the alternative holistic scene to support humans in their wellness journey.
The presentation will cover the pharmacological components of Kambô, all the processes involved, including potential risks, best outcomes, benefits to general health and well-being.
