Release the Past for a Healthy Spiritual Path
Beth St Claire
What has been your past experiences of religion and spirituality and how has this limited you or helped you grow? Increasing our awareness of these foundational experiences can help us more mindfully leave behind or heal negative messages/feelings/experiences (whether these were subtle or abusive/traumatic) and plan steps towards a positive path for you. Religious and spiritual spaces are places where people often allow themselves to be vulnerable, and open themselves to trust and faith; but that also means they are vulnerable to being exploited, manipulated, misled or mistreated. Amongst some very positive philosophies and guidance, can be messages that undermine or disempower.
This workshop makes space to re-trace what has shaped us, reflect on what makes a safe container for spiritual connection, and what works for you personally going forward.
