Yin and Yoga Nidra
Yoga Nidra also known as yogic sleep is a deep meditation bringing you to a deep place of rest and recharge. During this meditation you will set a Sankalpa, a positive affirmation said in the present tense as if it’s already happening. This works to reprogram the subconscious mind and help break down negative belief patterns. You may also feel a sense of calm and re-energised presence following the workshop.
To ensure you are comfy and able to be still for the deep meditation, Lauren will start the workshop with gentle mobility and yin yoga to help release areas of deepest tension.
Lauren has been working in the health and wellness industry for over 15 years. Originally from the UK she has taught in multiple countries and studied many areas of wellness and now runs her company “The Vitality Space” on Aucklands Coast. She has a passion for empowering people through movement and connection. Lauren creates a safe space for complete beginners and strives to help people feel comfortable and open. All welcome. Strong suggestion to bring extra layers and a blanket if you have one to ensure you are comfortable in stillness.
